Recently I bought a bag of soap ends, a fairly big bag of the offcuts from the home-soap making business. They turned out to be a bit too thin to use without breaking, so I cast around and discovered if you grate soap and moisten it, you can form it into balls which are much easier to use.
So I grated the soap, moistened it, and rolled it into little balls. Really freakingly simple.
Looks good heh?
But do you notice at the front there is a malformed ball?
I left them out in the hope that M would eat one. I didn’t expect him to but I thought it would be funny if he did. He didn’t notice them last night though, or if he did he didn’t say anything.
This morning after his gym session he was all tired out and complaining so I said “Why don’t you go and eat one of the yummy things I made.”
You’d think the fact that the texture and smell were…well…of soap….might have caused him hesitation, but nooooooo.
The scream was magnificent.
I had tears of laughter pouring down my cheeks. I’m laughing now too.
You’d think he’d have learnt not to trust me by now when I talk in that bright, innocent way.
I fished it out of the bin where he threw it and put it in the shower for him to wash himself with tomorrow.
